EOS is a Cryptocurrency, the network powered by DPoS (consensus mechanism based on stacking) algorithm. The original software was developed by Daniel Larimer from US and first released July 26th, 2017. Nowadays the cryptocurrency is managed by the Block.one, an organization based in the KY.
