According to the plans, introduced in the Whitepaper, the exchange plans to use 20% of the quarterly profit to buy back BNB and burn (destroy) it, until 50% of the max supply (i.e. 100 out of 200 million) will be burned.

The coin has several use cases. Most notably, it's used as the utility token in the Binance Exchange Ecosystem, allowing the users to receive up to 50% discounts when paying trading fees with BNB (although the discount will be reduced yearly until 2021 when it will become 0%).
