About apxUSD

Apyx is a Dividend-Backed Stablecoin protocol that acquires preferred equity issued by Digital Asset Treasuries (DATs), which are publicly-listed companies holding digital assets on their balance sheets and issuing preferred shares paying monthly cash dividends. The protocol holds these preferred shares as collateral and converts offchain dividend cash flows into onchain yield. It has two tokens: apxUSD, a synthetic dollar backed by over 100% collateral in DAT preferred shares, designed to provide liquidity across DeFi and CeFi; and apyUSD, an ERC-4626 vault where users lock apxUSD to receive enhanced yield from underlying dividend streams. The protocol manages risk through daily NAV reporting, auto-rebalancing, stress testing, and a protocol-owned liquidity buffer.
