FenixPay review & testimonials (updated 11.2019)

FenixPay user interface: the home page in English

What is FenixPay in a nutshell? It's recently added to our monitoring, promising exchange service (broker) supporting 2 cryptocurrencies: you can buy and sell coins using 2 fiat currencies (6 banks & payment systems are supported). Exchange service started the business Mar 2019, it serves the clients for a few months.

The exchange charges very high fees: 18% (according to our statistics, 92% exchanges offer lower average fee) and has very low buying limits: $70 — $210 (in accordance with the statistics we've collected, 80% exchanges have higher order limits). This Broker welcomes customers from 255 countries (including your country: United States!). It serves the US and allows registrations from all the 56 states and territories. Unfortunately we couldn't yet collect enough data about the order processing speed from the customers of FenixPay, although according to information we got, the order processing is not fully automated so delays with the funds delivery may happen. You won't need to verify your account to use the services of the Broker, FenixPay accepts and welcomes anonymous customers!

Since this March, FenixPay is working hard to get great testimonials from the users. Although, since this Broker was recently added to our price comparison platform, we have no user reviews yet. Maybe you can help? If you have any experience dealing with FenixPay, can you please leave your testimonial? It will surely be a great help for us and all the community, thanks!

Based on all these facts, our verdict is the following: FenixPay is a promising, although not yet reviewed much by our visitors place to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, an interesting exchange that we believe will get some nice feedback soon!

  • Seems that the exchange operates without any business licenses, etc.
  • Low buying limits.
  • The fees are rather high.

Unfortunately there are more cons that pros. But this doesn't mean the FenixPay is a bad Broker! You should check the list and decide, which of these pros are cons are most important for you. Try FenixPay today and let us know how you like it!

Services, FenixPay Provides

The platform provides the following cryptocurrency exchange-related services:

  • Allows the customers to buy cryptocurrencies with fiat currencies
  • Provides the clients with ways to "cash out" the crypto to fiat currency

As we can see, FenixPay doesn't provide any services besides the cryptocurrency exchange, althought it's definitely not a bad thing; after all, we came here for the crypto exchange, right?

Currencies & Payment Systems

FenixPay provides the service of buying and selling 2 digital currencies using fiat currencies. The following cryptocurrencies are available to buy/sell: Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH).

If you are not sure, which one of these electronic currencies you are most interested in, you are welcome to read our guides. For example, these: Cryptocurrencies without proof of work to buy in 2019.

2 fiat currencies are supported to provide crypto purchase and selling: Ukrainian Hryvna (UAH), US Dollar (USD). The Broker will let you buy and sell Bitcoins and 1 other cryptos using the following payment systems:

  • Sberbank. A local bank (you may use from Russia) in various currencies. Just the RUB payments are available for selling cryptocurrency to fiat solely; at the time you can't buy crypto using this payment method here. Sberbank is a popular way to buy BTC and other cryptocurrencies available at 170 exchanges of various types. You are welcome to find the best rate for buying bitcoin with sberbank at our home page!
  • Qiwi. An international payment system (it's available in 9 countries) allowing e-wallet payments in various currencies. Just the RUB payments are available for selling cryptocurrency to fiat solely; at the time you can't buy crypto using this payment method here.
  • Privat24. A local bank (serving Ukraine) in various currencies. Just the UAH payments are available for selling cryptocurrency to fiat solely; at the time you can't buy crypto using this payment method here.
  • Skrill. An international payment system (available worldwide) allowing e-wallet payments in various currencies. Just the USD payments are available for purchasing cryptos at the exchange.
  • NETELLER. An international payment system (it's available in 202 countries) allowing e-wallet payments in various currencies. Just the USD payments are available for purchasing cryptos at the exchange.
  • Monobank. A local bank (serving Ukraine) in Ukrainian Hryvna currency. Just the UAH payments are available for purchasing cryptos at the exchange.

FenixPay fees

The fees you need to pay at this broker during the process of buying and selling cryptocurrencies are easier to understand if you break it down like that (note that you can skip the details, jumping to the conclusion):

  1. Service/processing fee. Depending on the fiat payment system and currency, it's as follows:
    • 18% when you pay money using NETELLER in US Dollar.
  2. Miners fee. Please note that this fee applies only when you buy bitcoin or other cryptocurrency!
    • 0 BTC: great news! at the moment there is no such a fee!

Are FenixPay fees high or low?

Now it's time to draw a conclusion: FenixPay charges a very high fees. According to our statistics, fairly big percent of the exchanges charge some less (although please be aware that it mostly depends on the exchange direction!) than FenixPay does. For example, an average fee you pay to buy Bitcoin with NETELLER in USD across various exchange brokers, trading platforms, p2p marketplaces and e-wallets is 13%, FenixPay charges 18% for this. Seems fair, especially considering the anonymity!

Buying and selling limits

This Broker has the following limits, applicable when you buy or sell cryptocurrencies:

  1. Purchase limits (when you buy crypto).
    • $70 minimal buy and $210 max purchase when using NETELLER in US Dollar.
  2. Withdrawal limits (when you out-exchange crypto to the fiat money).

And the good news: there are no limits on other payment systems (the limitations the payment system has aside) FenixPay supports! Comparing to other exchanges, FenixPay has very low buying and selling limits, most of the competition allow higher amounts.

Verification at FenixPay

The broker respects the user privacy and doesn't require verification. You may stay anonymous while using FenixPay, whatever exchange direction you need.

This is a rare find these days! You know, most of the exchanges require at least some verification. The absence of KYC policy saves the user time and prevents possible data leaks, we think that many people will appreciate such a possibility while dealing with FenixPay!

Deposit/withdrawal speed

According to the data we have, FenixPay processes all or most of the orders without an automation; orders require staff attention to be completed. The speed of money transfer varies a lot on such services, so it's good to know the situation here at this exchange.
