LocalBitcoins review & testimonials (updated 11.2019)

LocalBitcoins user interface: the home page in English

What is LocalBitcoins in a nutshell? It's recently added to our monitoring, promising exchange service (p2p marketplace) supporting 4 cryptocurrencies: you can buy and sell coins using 63 fiat currencies (174 banks & payment systems are supported) or exchange one crypto into another here. Exchange service started the business May 2019, it serves the clients for a few months.

This P2P Marketplace welcomes customers from 255 countries (including your country: United States!). It serves the US and allows registrations from all the 56 states and territories. Unfortunately we couldn't yet collect enough data about the order processing speed from the customers of LocalBitcoins, although according to information we got, the order processing is not fully automated so delays with the funds delivery may happen. Depending on the order details, you may need to verify your account to exchange crypto on this P2P Marketplace.

Since this May, LocalBitcoins is working hard to get great testimonials from the users. Although, since this P2P Marketplace was recently added to our price comparison platform, we have no user reviews yet. Maybe you can help? If you have any experience dealing with LocalBitcoins, can you please leave your testimonial? It will surely be a great help for us and all the community, thanks!

Based on all these facts, our verdict is the following: LocalBitcoins is a promising, although not yet reviewed much by our visitors place to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, an interesting exchange that we believe will get some nice feedback soon!

Pros & Cons of LocalBitcoins

Although LocalBitcoins is not yet rated by our visitors, there probably are many downsides that people don't like, but there also should be strong sides. Who knows, maybe for you, our dear visitor, these are most important and you'd consider this exchange as one of the best ones. Let's check it out:

  • 4 digital currencies and 63 fiat ones are supported. Although, a lot of payment systems & banks, totally 174 are supported, both international and national ones: Visa & Mastercard, Sberbank, Tinkoff Bank, etc.
  • Almost all the countries in the world are welcomed here! Feel free to check if your country is allowed to register an account.
  • Built-in escrow makes the process almost perfectly safe, especially when you are buying crypto.
  • LocalBitcoins started the business relatively recently, it works just 6 months
  • The quality of service, speed, etc. varies from seller to seller; the platform itself has almost zero impact on these.

Seems that there are not so many cons, but a lot of pros. We hope you will enjoy your experience exchanging at LocalBitcoins! Try LocalBitcoins today and let us know how you like it!
