Kuna review & testimonials (updated 04.2020)

Kuna user interface: the home page in English

What is Kuna in a nutshell? It's maybe not the most popular, but well established, exchange service (trading platform) supporting 13 cryptocurrencies: you can buy and sell coins using 3 fiat currencies (7 banks & payment systems are supported) or exchange one crypto into another here. Exchange service started the business Jan 2016, it serves the clients for a few years. Besides the cryptocurrencies exchange, Kuna also provides other services, for example, Cash codes.

This service works with a number of currencies, banks, and payment systems. Hence to estimate the fees level we calculated an average fee you'll spend for an exchange here. Based on this number (1.46%) we may say that Kuna charges low fees: 1.0% — 3.0% (according to our statistics, 96% exchanges take higher average fee) and has great buying limits: $1 — $10,000 (in accordance with the statistics we've collected, 89% exchanges allow lower limits for orders). This Trading Platform welcomes customers from 251 countries (unfortunately, your country: United States is not supported at the moment; but there are good alternatives). Due to regulatory restrictions, US citizens and residents are not served by the exchange. Unfortunately we couldn't yet collect enough data about the order processing speed from the customers of Kuna, although according to the information from the exchange itself, order processing is automated and should be instant. You won't need to verify your account to use the services of the Trading Platform, Kuna accepts and welcomes anonymous customers!

Since 2016, Kuna is working hard to get great testimonials from the users. Although, since this Trading Platform was recently added to our price comparison platform, we have no user reviews yet. Maybe you can help? If you have any experience dealing with Kuna, can you please leave your testimonial? It will surely be a great help for us and all the community, thanks!

Based on all these facts, our verdict is the following: Kuna is a promising, although not yet reviewed much by our visitors place to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, an interesting exchange that we believe will get some nice feedback soon!

Pros & Cons of Kuna

Although Kuna is not yet rated by our visitors, common sense tells us it should have both strong sides and some downsides. Let's check it out:

  • Trading Platform operates for a long time, service was started 2016.01.
  • Kuna allows anonymous customers, there is no verification required for all the exchange directions.
  • 13 digital currencies and 3 fiat ones are supported. Although, a lot of payment systems & banks, totally 7 are supported, both international and national ones: Visa & Mastercard, Qiwi, Perfect Money, etc.
  • Fees are relatively low.
  • High purchase and withdrawal limits, convenient min/max amounts.
  • Almost all the countries in the world are welcomed here! Feel free to check if your country is allowed to register an account.
  • Besides the buying and selling, you may trade cryptocurrencies and earn some profit.
  • Trading platform business model is based on holding the clients funds at the online wallet; such approach has some risks.

Seems that there are not so many cons, but a lot of pros. We hope you will enjoy your experience exchanging at Kuna! Try Kuna today and let us know how you like it!

Services, Kuna Provides

The platform provides the following cryptocurrency exchange-related services:

  • Allows the customers to buy cryptocurrencies with fiat currencies
  • Provides the clients with ways to "cash out" the crypto to fiat currency
  • Helps you to exchange one crypto to another
  • Allows the clients to issue/redeem so called cash codes; the combination of characters that can be sent to other person and used by him/her to add fiat balance at the exchange. It's something similar to prepaid cards like Paysafecard, etc..

So Kuna is something bigger than just a place to exchange digital currency. According to our statistics, 97% of the competition provide less services, many just allow the buying and selling, so this trading platform is among the champions in this field!

Currencies & Payment Systems

Kuna provides the service of buying and selling and exchanging 13 digital currencies using fiat currencies and crypto. Besides the fiat-to-crypto conversion and vice versa, it also allows to exchange one cryptocurrency to another. The following cryptocurrencies are available to buy-sell-swap: Bitcoin Cash (BCHABC), Binance Coin (BNB), Bitcoin (BTC), Dash (DASH), EOS (EOS), Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Tether (USDT), Waves (WAVES), NEM (XEM), Stellar (XLM), Ripple (XRP), Zcash (ZEC).

    • 0.25% of the exchange amount, whatever fiat or crypto currency you exchange.
  3. Cryptocurrency withdrawal fee. Please note that this fee applies only when you transfer the crypto 'out': to your own wallet, to someone else, etc.!
    • 0.000500 BTC when you purchase Bitcoins
    • the usual transaction fee in the according crypto, when you are buying: BCHABC, BNB, DASH, EOS, ETH, LTC, USDT, WAVES, XEM, XLM, XRP, ZEC.

Are Kuna fees high or low?

Now it's time to draw a conclusion: considering the average fee the exchange changes for an operation we can state that Kuna takes very low fees! According to our statistics, most of the exchanges charges about the same fees Kuna does. For example, an average fee you pay to buy Bitcoin with Visa & Mastercard in UAH across various exchange brokers, trading platforms, p2p marketplaces and e-wallets is 2%, Kuna charges 1.5% for this. A nice opportunity and as you can see, the fee is low enough, especially considering the fact there is no KYC!

Does Kuna allow the users from United States (US)?

USA flag

Sorry, but the Kuna can't provide the services to the citizens and residents of the United States of America at this time, due to the local regulations and licensing matters, etc. But there are no reasons to get disappointed because of that, there are plenty of great exchanges as well as the ones of Trading Platform type, who warmly welcomes the American people! We can recommend you to look at these:

Customer service

Sorry, but we haven't collected enough data about this yet. Do you have any experience exchanging with the Kuna? Can you please add your testimonial? This will help everyone a lot, thanks!

Verification at Kuna

The trading platform respects the user privacy and doesn't require verification. You may stay anonymous while using Kuna, whatever exchange direction you need.

This is a rare find these days! You know, most of the exchanges require at least some verification. The absence of KYC policy saves the user time and prevents possible data leaks, we think that many people will appreciate such a possibility while dealing with Kuna!

Please note: Verification (just a card photo) is required only if you are paying by Visa/MasterCard/Mir card in Russian Rubles. In all other cases there is no KYC at all!

Deposit/withdrawal speed

Kuna processes the orders automatically, that's definitely a good thing and the process should take no time. Although we know that some exchanges require various forms of staff approval, etc. for the specific orders; such ones generally take longer. Even fully automated platforms sometimes delay the funds delivery, so if you know that it's the case here at this trading platform, let us and the community know about it, please!

Is Kuna instant?

So, what can we see? In accordance with the data we know about the trading platform, orders at Kuna should be instant. Although we don't have enough information about the order delivery speed from actual customers yet, sorry.

Customers' testimonials

There are currently no users testimonials about the Kuna. Do you have any experience using this trading platform? If you do, please say a couple of words about it!

Is Kuna a good trading platform?

Although we have not enough users' reviews yet, we analyzed the information we have. Feel free to get acquainted with the details reading this review or just jump to the conclusion!

Is Kuna licensed? Does it hold e-money license?

It is not, although seems that such business model complies with the regulation in Kuna home country.

Does Kuna issue redeemable cash codes?

It does. All the users of trading platform may issue/redeem such codes and send/receive such ones from/to others. It works like the prepaid gift cards, e-vouchers, etc.
